Some good news if you’re a residential user of natural gas.
Union Gas has received approval from the Ontario Energy Board to lower rates starting October 1st.
Northwestern Ontario will get a 2% reduction, while the rest of the province gets 6%.
The changes mean the average bill for local customers will drop about $21 annually, to an average of $970.
