Grade 10 students within the Keewatin-Patricia School District fared
well in the latest round of literacy testing.
73% of students taking the test for the first time were
successful compared to 69% 5 years ago.
Superintendent of Education Wendy Wiedenhoeft says 91% of
eligible students wrote the exam in March, with only 2% being
deferred.
Dryden High School and Queen Elizabeth in Sioux Lookout showed
significant improvement over last years results.
