Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell is settling into her new role as NDP critic for Community and Social Services.
Campbell admits she’s got her work cut out for her but stresses she’s ready to hold the government accountable.
She says a big aspect of the job is bringing a Northern view to the Ministry, especially when it relates to poverty.
Campbell says there’s a lot of broken programs within the Ministry.
She will act as a watchdog for Ontario Works, the Disability Support Program, and the Family Responsibility Office.
