Local MPP Asking Government to Save Bus Service

The MPP for Kenora-Rainy River is urging the Provincial Government to intervene in Greyhound’s threat to cease operations in Northwestern Ontario.
Howard Hampton says the McGuinty Liberals must take this issue seriously.
Hampton says both the Minister of Northern Development and Minister of Transportation are pretending that this issue isn’t a problem.
The NDP member says there are currently 2-Government owned bus lines in Northeastern Ontario and the Toronto area, so the Grits should strongly consider bus service in our area.
