Local MPP Pleased with Health-Care Funding

Its not the deal they were hoping for.
But the Premiers have signed onto a mult-year agreement to improve health-care.
The accord provides 13.5 billion dollars in new federal money for medicare over 3 years.
The provinces wanted 15 billion.
Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Lyn McLeod and Liberal Health Critic Lyn McLeod says she is pleased money is being put into the overstretched system but notes she will have her eye on Premier Eves.
She says Eves is not intending to use the money for new services.
McLeod says the Feds should put clear guidelines in place with the accord.
