Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell is worried the provincial government will be pulling the plug on the current sitting of the Ontario Legislature.
There have been wide-spread rumours premier Kathleen Wynne will prorogue Queen’s Park later this month.
Campbell says the move would effectively kill any legislation currently on the table, including her private members bill regarding fixed rate electricity contracts.
She stresses northerners don’t want to see an early end to the session and notes they must continue to hold the government accountable.
Campbell says while the premier isn’t showing her hand yet, all the signs point to an early end.
