A ratification vote is around the corner for public employees.
The province and Ontario Public Service Employees Union reached a tentative agreement in labour talks earlier this month.
Local 719 President James Nowe says the vote takes place October 27th.
Nowe says the agreement is called a net-zero deal, but members have made recessions in termination pay and new language regarding WSIB claims.
He is concerned there’s more concessions than gains.
Nowe says members will have to take a long, hard look at the deal before voting.
