The pursuit for a national Junior hockey title continues for a handful of local players.
Dryden’s Geoff Kitt and Jordan Larson of Fort Frances are members of the Carleton Place Canadians who are participating in the Fred Page Cup.
Cochenour’s Brett Jeffries and the Soo Thunder Birds are battling against the SIJHL representative Fort Frances Lakers in the Dudley Hewitt Cup.
Three players are in battle at the Western Canada Cup in Estavan, Saskatchewan.
They include Sioux Lookout’s Brandon Stanley and Kenora’s Jaryd Wiebe of the Portage Terriers.
Kenora’s Eric Sinclair is a member of the Melfort Mustangs.
They are all competing for a spot in the Royal Bank Cup.
