The City of Dryden is reacting to a new mobile agreement inked between TBayTel and Rogers.
TBayTel has announced plans to build a new wireless network across Northern Ontario.
The new network is based on HSPA, which is the latest GSM technology.
Dryden Mayor Anne Krassilowsky says DMTS will continue to stay the course and work on its business plan.
DMTS General Manager Peter Gillis, says the company has received a call from Rogers to fill them in on what TBayTel is planning.
Also, Gillis says by this summer certain stretches of Highway in Northwestern Ontario, such as Highway 72 to Sioux Lookout, should receive better service.
