The Northwestern Ontario Branch of the Canadian Red Cross is accepting donations in response to the devastating earthquake in Haiti.
Shanna Hansson says the Dryden office is handling the local cause or you can help out by going on-line at www.redcross.ca
Hansson says the Red Cross has already freed up $200,000 in aid from its International fund.
The Canadian Red Cross has set an initial fund-raising goal of 2-million.
Officials say they are providing immediate assistance to the millions of people in Haiti who may need emergency aid.
