Four local firefighters are in Thunder Bay for the 2016 Can-Am Police-Fire Games.
The event has attracted more than 1,200 athletes drawn from the ranks of professional and volunteer firefighters, police, EMS, corrections and border services personnel.
The Dryden and Machin Fire Departments are represented by Todd Montgomery, Jason Langlais, Cory MacLeod and Shawn Lappage.
They are competing in golf, with the first round starting Tuesday.
