Local Schools Recognized

2-High Schools in Northwestern Ontario are being recognized by the Education Quality and Accountability Office.
Both Queen Elizabeth High School in Sioux Lookout and Beaver Brae in Kenora will be getting the Dr. Bette Stephenson Award of Excellence.
An elementary school in Keewatin is also being recognized.
The schools were among 20-across the province honored for their work in using EQAO results to help out students.
The award is for creating and implementing an action plan in response to the test scores.
