The Northern Ontario School of Medicine is looking for high school students with an interest in medicine.
Dean Dr. Roger Strasser says they are offering their Summer Health Sciences Camp in Thunder Bay this summer.
Strasser says the camp is geared towards students going into grade 10 or 11 this year.
The free camp runs from July 8th to 12th at Lakehead University.
Students will learn more about DNA analysis and casting.
Strasser says it’s their hope that these students will choose the medical field as a profession.
He says this year they are targeting smaller communities and aboriginal students.
