Local Tourism Group Supports Walleye Changes

The Northwestern Ontario Tourism Association is supporting proposed changes to walleye fishing.
President Lucas Adams says lower catch limits are needed to protect the local fish population.
Adams adds they also want to see no walleye over 18-inches allowed to be kept.
Adams believes that the proposed rule won’t affect fishing camps, saying that most tourists don’t ask about regulations when booking trips and don’t have any issue when learning about them once arriving to the camps.
