‘Lock It or Lose It’ in Sioux Lookout

OPP in Sioux Lookout have launched a new program in an effort to curb
the number of thefts from unlocked vehicles.
Police are urging residents to ‘Lock It or Lose It’ and Constable Mark
Gaudet says officers are now distributing pamphlets explaining ways to
prevent the loss of items from your vehicle.
Gaudet says if you lock your doors, close your windows and keep
valuables hidden, then thieves are not as likely to break into your vehicle.
OPP checked 151 vehicles on Monday and 39-vehicles were unlocked.
