Long Weekend Forecast

It could be a volatile long weekend across the region.

CKDR Meterologist Bill Laidlaw says there will be widespread buildups Friday afternoon and that will bring the rain.

Laidlaw says we will see vigorous thunderstorms and significant rainfall Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday morning.

He adds it will still be hot and humid Saturday, before a cold front moves in Saturday night-Sunday morning.

Laidlaw is expecting to see extreme weather warnings issued sometime over the next three days.
