OPSEU Members Set To Resume Talks

Contract talks for some provincial government workers will resume next week.

The Ontario Public Service Employees Union and Treasury Board have mostly been discussing a deal regarding emergency and essential services that would continue in the event of a strike.

The union says both sides have agreed to halt those talks and return to bargaining.

OPSEU president Warren Thomas is remaining cautiously optimistic a deal will be reached.
