Look Ahead at Summer Tourism

The Executive Director of the Sunset Country Travel Association
believes tourism will be down again this summer.
Gerry Cariou says inquiries are up however most Tourist Outfitters indicate a decline in bookings.
Cariou says at their Annual General Meeting Thursday night, delegates
will be discussing ways to boost regional tourism.
The Board is looking to fill vacancies for Directors in the
Patricia Region, Rainy River District and the Lake of the Woods area.
The 31st AGM will be held at the Sunset Inn in Sioux Lookout at 6:30.
