The Dryden Weyerhaeuser Mill is predicting better times ahead now
that contract talks are behind the Company and Employees.
A new 5-year agreement was ratified Tuesday night after lengthy
negotiations.
Mill Manager Norm Bush says it’s important that the deal was a long-term
one as it leads to stable relations.
Bush says they can now work together to ensure that the Mill remains competitive.
Bush was impressed with the amount of work and effort both sides
put in to reach an agreement.
The deal is retroactive to September 2004 and runs until September
2009.
