Low Employment Rate For Northern Ontario

Northern Ontario’s employment rate is still not meeting the numbers it had five years.
The Rural Ontario Institute’s latest study shows the region’s economy has been slow to recover since the last recession.
Chief Executive Officer Norman Regetlie says it’s also lags behind more populated areas.
Regetlie says almost every job sector has failed to regain jobs lost during the recession other than education and professional services.
