A Lakehead University alumnus is among four victims killed in shootings at a high school and another location in La Loche on Friday.
Adam Wood was working as a teacher in the small, northern Saskatchewan community.
In Thunder Bay, Wood had ties to the Roots to Harvest program. The organization wrote on Facebook that Wood was a past staff member, and held the reins with positivity and enthusiasm for two summers while attending school.
They say he’ll be remembered by having the best combination of qualities, and that he was making positive change in the world.
