Some big plans for 2019 at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, with the new President hoping a big project will break ground.
Moira McPherson says she’s eager to open a new Indigenous Learning Centre on campus.
She also notes the start of a new five-year plan will be top priority for her.
McPherson says “laying the foundation for the implementation of this 5-year plan, so we’ve developed a project charter, we’ve mapped out all the priorities starting with year one.”
Heading into the New Year, the LU President says students will notice at least one big difference.
McPherson says students will be able to freely engage with all instructors and senior staff on the “issues of the day”.
