Lying to a Conservation Officer Costs Lodge Owner

A Nestor Falls Lodge owner has been ordered to pay $7,000 for hunting deer out of season and for lying to a conservation officer.
Court heard that last November Dean Roy provided guiding services to 2-non resident hunters during closed season.
Roy stored a deer that was shot by one of the hunters at his resort.
Conservation officers investigated and Roy lied about the hunt.
Officers located and seized the hidden deer.
