A Minnesota man has been fined $3,000 for illegal deer hunting, north of Kenora.
Court heard that in October of 2006, John Kosnitch shot and killed a deer on a road in an area full of homes and cottages.
Later in the day, he illegally took the deer back to Minnesota with him.
Kosnitch was convicted of careless hunting and transporting illegally killed wildlife and he has been banned from hunting in Ontario for 2-years.
