Machin Celebrating 100th Birthday

Happy Birthday Machin!
The community celebrates its 100th Birthday Saturday.
Centennial festivities start with a breakfast at the Happy GO Lucky Seniors Centre at 9 o’clock.
Fort Vermilion will then take over, with festivities from 1 o’clock until 10.
A special fireworks display will be held immediately after at Pine Tree Park.
Event Coordinator Laurie Huffman notes on Sunday a bi-centennial celebration will be held at Post Park, located on Lyle Road off Highway 594.
