Mail-In Ballots Too Costly

There will be no mail-in balloting in this fall’s municipal and school board elections in Atikokan.
Township council voted against the idea at their meeting this week.
Mayor Dennis Brown says the cost concerned him.
Brown says the money is better suited in paying for the 30 part-time employees hired during election time to oversee polling stations.
