Major Fire in Oxdrift

A major fire has destroyed a shop and storage building on Highway 594.
Oxdrift fire crews were called to the blaze just after 7 o’clock Tuesday night.
The Dryden Fire Service provided support and crews spent several
hours fighting the blaze.
Oxdrift firefighters were still mopping up and extinguishing spot fires
around 3 Wednesday morning.
No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.
