Single Parent Families Prevelant in NWO

About 1 out of every 6 families with children in Northwestern Ontario
is headed by just 1-parent according to the new census figures.
15.1% of all families in Dryden have just one child.
Sioux Lookout has the highest ratio at 19.4%, followed by
Pickle Lake at 17.9% and Kenora at 17%.
Lone parent families make up 14.7% of the population in Red
Lake, 14.1% in Machin, 13.6% in Ignace and 11.1% in Ear Falls.
