Major Infrastructure announcements are being rolled out Friday.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford is touring the area with money in hand.
The Conservative member will be in Sioux Lookout at 12:30, Ignace at 3:00, Vermilion Bay at 6 o’clock and Ear Falls at 8 tonight.
Rickford will make another announcement Saturday in Kenora.
For folks in Dryden, you will have to wait a little longer.
Rickford will make an infrastructure announcement in the City on June 12th.
The federal and provincial governments have signed on to fund two-thirds of shovel ready projects through a massive stimulus fund.
Dryden has applied for $7.6-million for Arena upgrades under the Build Canada Fund.
Council picked 3-projects for Infrastructure Stimulus funding; $1.3-million for water meter implementation, $5-million for the paving of Sandy Beach Road and extending water and sewer down Sandy Beach Road to 4-Mile Corner at a cost of $16-million.
