Man Charged for Assaulting an OPP Officer

Not exactly a routine arrest for OPP in Sioux Lookout.
Police confronted an intoxicated man on Front Street on Wednesday.
OPP say the man became violent and resisted arrest.
OPP note he proceeded to assault one officer.
32-year-old Paul Mahnoney of Kingfisher Lake faces counts of assaulting a peace officer, resisting arrest, failing to comply and breach of probation.
