Man Charged With 4 Counts of Assault

A 26-year-old man faces charges following a Red Lake OPP investigation.
Police received a report of several alleged assaults which had taken place in the course of a few days.
Officers found that the accused had assaulted his common-law girlfriend.
The man faces 2-counts of assault, 1-count of assault with a weapon and 1-count of sexual assault.
His name has not been released.
