MNR Fire Personnel Exchange

A lull in forest fire activity in Northwestern Ontario has allowed the Ministry of Natural Resources to send more help to Alberta.
Another 102-fire staff will depart for the Western Province on Wednesday.
However, the tour of duty for 85 currently working in Alberta is over, and they will return home this week.
The exchange results in over 200-fire staff remaining in Alberta.
There is only 1-active fire locally, a 1,300 hectare blaze currently under control near Savant Lake.
