The man suspected of being involved in a weapons incident in the Intercity Mall area in Thunder Bay Monday afternoon has been arrested.
Police say a citizen called officers after observing a man match the description of the suspect.
Police spokesperson Julie Tilbury says the shopping centre was evacuated after an armed man was seen running towards the mall following a confrontation with an off-duty officer.
No one was hurt.
Officers located brass knuckles, a knife, an airsoft gun and a variety of drugs during their search.
The 27-year-old Thunder Bay man is being charged with weapons and drug related charges.
