No one was injured following an incident near New Prospect School Monday afternoon.
Dryden Police received a call of a woman with a man who was believed to be in distress.
Police determined the two were in the bush area south of Leach Road west of Colonization.
Officers received information that a weapon may have been involved in the incident, resulting in the lockdown of New Prospect and the closure of traffic in the area.
About an hour and a half after the incident, the two both exited the bush without any trouble.
Police apprehended the man under the Mental Health Act and he was transported to hospital.
The investigation is on-going.
