Man Not Injured In Apartment Fire

Another reminder to have working smoke detectors in your home.
Provincial police and firefighters in Pickle Lake were called to a Koval Street apartment around 6:30 Saturday morning.
OPP say heavy smoke was found coming from a room on the second floor.
Officials say the fire started when a man fell asleep with a frying pan left cooking on the stove.
There were no working smoke detectors in the residence.
No one was injured.
