Man Wants Via Rail Passenger Service in Northwest

A feasibility study is being done to see if passenger rail service could be brought back to the CP Main Line in Northwestern Ontario.
Sylvain Gervais is the man behind the study and says he’d like to see the service operate on a year-round basis.
He says he already has some potential investors interested but he wants to complete the feasibility study first.
Gervais is a former Via Rail employee and says he’d like to see passenger rail service returned to communities like Dryden and Kenora.
