Manitoba Cold Case Has Northwestern Ontario Connection

Police in Manitoba are in Thunder Bay to bring awareness to the unsolved murder of a former Lakehead woman in 1994.
The victim was 20-year-old Jamie McGuire who police say was living in Thunder Bay and left for Winnipeg in January of that year.
McGuire’s body was found in a rural area west of Winnipeg.
Winnipeg Detective Sergeant Nathalie Aitken says they’re hoping to jog some memories.
Police say they are doing this as part of Project Devote, the Task Force for missing and exploited women.
