It looks like a major winter storm system is going to by-pass the Dryden area altogether.
While a few flurries are in the forecast Monday, much of southern Manitoba including Winnipeg are under a snowfall warning.
Some areas in western Manitoba have received as much as 30 centimetres of snow, and the Trans-Canada Highway is closed at Virden this morning.
Another 5 to 10 centimetres is expected today and driving conditions starting at Falcon Lake are less than ideal.
