Dryden Council will be briefed Tuesday on the latest developments surrounding the withdrawal of services from volunteer firefighters due to personnel issues and the dismissal of three firefighters.
A Special Closed meeting has been scheduled for the afternoon, where an update from staff will be provided.
The City and the executive of the Fire Association held a lengthy discussion last week, where various concerns were raised.
At that time, Dryden staff said that talks were expected to continue, while firefighters from Barclay, Wabigoon and Oxdrift would continue to provide fire coverage.
