A Manitoba man has been slapped with a $2,000 fine for illegal dumping.
A conservation officer responded to a complaint on the provincial TIPS line last August regarding a man dumping human waste from his camper trailer on Crown land on East Nelson Lake Road, west of Thunder Bay.
George Blair of Landmark has been banned from camping on Ontario Crown land for one year as a result.
