Wisconsin Men Fined For Travelling Down Closed Road

Two Wisconsin men have each been fined $750 for travelling on a closed road in the Thunder Bay area.

Court heard that Michael Miller and George Miller were fishing about 140-kilometres northwest of Thunder Bay last May.

The two accessed the lake by going down a forest access road that was closed to the public.

The province deemed the road off-limits to protect remote tourism operations in the area.
