Manitoba Marathon Results

It was one of the hottest Marathon’s on record but that didn’t stop a
number of local residents from taking part in the 27th Annual Fathers Day
Run in Winnipeg Sunday.
Matthew Sidders of Cochenour was the top local finisher, crossing the
finish line in 28th place with a time of 3-hours and 20-minutes.
His father Roy finished in 54th while Dryden’s Robert Shaffer recorded
a time of 3-hours and 29-minutes.
The top female finisher was Atikokan’s Anna Fotherigham with a time of
3 hours and 45-minutes, while Dryden’s Christine Smith completed the race in
4-hours and 45-minutes.
