Margaret Mae Pitchenese

Margaret Mae Pitchenese (Quayjaachee)
It is with the saddest of hearts that the family of Margaret Mae Pitchenese announce her passing on Monday August 4, 2003 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre. One of Margaret’s all time favorite past times was playing Bingo. If she wasn’t playing Bingo, she was busy dancing at Pow Wows, attending sweats, making crafts, or picking sweet grass. She especially loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Margaret Pitchenese is survived by her sons Roger and Ronald Pitchenese; grandchildren: Clarrisa, Alicia, Tad, Tia, Monica, Kiara, Gage and Jayd; brothers and sisters: Elsie (Len) Gardner, Harry Pitchenese (Jie and Dolly), Beverly Napish, Peter Pitchenese, Julia (Mike) Pitchenese, Daniel (Phyllis) Pitchenese, Isabel Pitchenese- Adams and Jack Pitchenese and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for Margaret Pitchenese was held on Wednesday August 6, 2003 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at Eagle Lake First Nation Community Hall.
Funeral services were held on Friday August 8, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Eagle Lake First Nation Community Hall with Elder Robert Kelly officiating. Interment followed in the Eagle Lake First Nation Cemetery.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON. P8N 2X3.
