Mass Shooting At Elementary School In Connecticut

A horrific mass-killing at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut.
A man opened fire inside the school, killing 26 people, 18 of which were children.
A law enforcement official briefed on the shooting says the gunman died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and that one of the
victims was the man’s mother, a teacher.
Another law enforcement official in Washington says the attacker
was a 20-year-old man armed with a .223-caliber rifle.
The White House says President Obama was notified of the shooting
and his spokesman Jay Carney says the president has “enormous
sympathy for families that are affected.”
