Maternity Services Study

A new study is underway to look at maternity services available in
Northern and rural Ontario.
Both levels of Government are funding the report which is expected to
take about a year to complete.
Wendy Peterson is the only Midwife working in the Kenora and Rainy
River Districts and says they want to consult women who have given birth
recently or are expecting.
Peterson says the lack of maternity services in the region is one of
the key issues they want to address with the study.
