Local Grade 9 students didn’t fare well in the recent round of Provincial Math tests.
The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board was well below the Ontario average as only 14-percent of students in the applied stream reached the Provincial standard.
In the Rainy River School District, 21-percent of students performed at or above the standard.
The Provincial mark was 26-percent and the Government plans to revise its curriculum due to the poor showing.
