Dryden GM Ice Dogs forward Matthew Pitchenese will be well rested for the playoffs.
The 18-year-old has been suspended 2-games by the SIJHL for a hit to the head against a Thunder Bay player at home on March 10th.
Pitchenese received a 2-minute minor penalty and a 10-minute misconduct on the play.
He will miss Thursday’s game in Cochenour and Friday’s game in Fort Frances.
The Ice Dogs have a first round bye and won’t play again until the last week of March.
