Some positive feedback from Dryden’s Mayor on the Provincial Budget.
Craig Nuttall says the $100-million in infrastructure funding is a plus, but he still wants to see what the criteria is to access it.
He says a 90% provincial-10% municipal funding formula would work.
Nuttall says the City could use that formula to make badly needed upgrades to the underpass.
That project is estimated at $800,000.
Nuttall says the province has also promised to look at the decisions made by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation and make some changes.
