Mayor Still Unsure About Resolute Mill Heating Plan

Still many questions for the Town of Fort Frances to exactly what Resolute Forest Products plans are for the mill this winter.
Mayor Roy Avis says heating the mill to so-called “asset protection mode” standards means little right now.
Avis admits he doesn’t know what that means and what parts of the mill will be heated.
He says he hasn’t heard from the company to his inquiries.
Avis adds further decisions on the future of the mill will come in January when he sits down with representatives from Unifor.
