A pair of Northwestern Ontario leaders have made another plea for help
for the forest sector.
Dryden Mayor Anne Krassilowsky and Thunder Bay Mayor Lynne Petereson
addressed the Ontario Legislature Standing Committee on Government Agencies
Thursday.
The Ontario Forestry Coalition was also involved and Chair Ian Angus
says they’re asking the Premier to designate a $45 per mega watt hour
pricing scheme for the forestry industry.
Angus says they are simply reminding the Premier of his previous
electricity promises for the North.
